Getting Started
How to install WordPress
To install this theme you must have a working version of WordPress already installed. For information regarding the installation of the WordPress platform, please see the WordPress Codex http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress
How to Install & Activate WP e-Commerce Plugin
Important Note
Installed WP e-Commerce plugin must be 3.8 or higher version.
Before upgrading WPEC 3.7.8 to WPEC 3.8 please backup
A list of things that you should know before upgrading
- Backwards compatibility #1. We did our best that 3.8 would be compatible with all your 3.7 plugins, themes and other stuff, but it’s impossible to ensure that 100% of plugins/themes that worked with 3.7 will work with 3.8.Please backup before upgrading
- Backwards compatibility #2. We also created a migration script to convert all your 3.7 products to 3.8 products (move them to other table, etc). We did our best, but something still can go wrongs, so.. Please backup before upgrading.
- If you are running any other version than 3.7.8 please upgrade to 3.7.8 before upgrading to 3.8. And.. Please backup before upgrading.
- And please backubangkoop before upgrading. It will take you only few minutes, and will guarantee that if anything goes wrong you will be safe, up and running in no time.

How to Install & Activate WP e-Commerce Plugin via WordPress Dashboard
- Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to Plugin > Add New. You’ll see a search box.
- In the search box choose Term as search option. Type in e-commerce in the blank field. Click Search Plugins. You’ll see WP e-commerce plugin.
- Click Install (under the Actions tab)
How to Install & Activate WP e-Commerce Plugin Manually
- Download the latest version of WP-e-Commerce plugin from Getshopped.org.
- Decompress the downloaded ZIP file. You’ll have WP-e-Commerce plugin in your computer.
- Open preferred FTP/SFTP program. Login to its server.
- Upload the entire wp-e-commerce plugin to the wp-content/plugins directory on your server. You’ll have a path to the directory: WordPress/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce.
- Login to your WordPress Dashboard.
- Go to Plugins. You’ll see inactive plugin called WP Shopping Cart.
- Click Activate. You’ll see Products appearing on Dashboard.
How to install Tokokoo Themes
When you are ready to install a theme, you must first upload the theme files and then activate the theme itself. The theme files can be uploaded in two ways:
- Unzip theme package you’ll find 2 folders: Docs Folder and Themes Folder. Inside Docs folder you’ll find 2 files: Read Me and Log File. Read Me is the guide you’re reading at this moment, while Log File tells you which version of the theme you currently have. Inside Themes Folder you’ll find Bangkoo themes.
- FTP Upload: Using your FTP program, upload the non-zipped theme folder into the /wp-content/themes/ folder on your server.
- WordPress Upload: Navigate to Appearance > Add New Themes > Upload. Go to browse, and select the zipped theme folder. Hit “Install Now” and the theme will be uploaded and installed.
Once the theme is uploaded, you need to activate it. Go to Appearance > Themes and activate your chosen theme. Be sure WP e-commerce plugin has been activated. after the themes was activated, you should go to store > presentation . Find advanced themes setting box:

- For the first time installing these themes in wordpress e- commerce, you just have to click the Move Template Files
- If you’ve previously installed other themes, you should click Flush Cache and then click Move Template Files. Themes is ready to used.
Themes Featured
Tokokoo Control Panel
First step, choose Bangkoo menu on your dashboard sidebar to customize theme general features. As you can see, we also have new control panel layout which specially designed for your ease. Enhanced with three main menus:
- General Menu
- Style
- Banner

Each bar equipped with Help to guide you how to use the settings. Just click the blue ‘!’ button and then the description box will quickly appear. To activate each setting, choose ‘ON’ or ‘OFF’ by clicking the slider for every sub setting.

1. General Menu
- How to Customize Skin
Go to Bangkoo > General > Skin. You’ll see Themes in dropdown, consisting several built-in skins: default (blue), brown, maroon, purple and green.

- How to Customize Setting
- IE Warning, Display It is show alert for Internet Explorer users advice them to upgrade their browsers. (This site is better displayed using non-IE 6 an IE 7).
- Auto Slide Featured Product, You can display auto slide your featured product in home page. Click On/Off if you want to activate/unactivate auto slide.

- Auto Slide Recent Product, You can display auto slide your recent product in home page. Click On/Off if you want to activate/unactivate auto slide.
- Timing Auto Play, Change the number of timing. The greater its number, the slower its scrolling.
- Recent Product Display, You can display recent product in home page and product page. Click On/Off if you want to activate/unactivate display.
- How to Shop Display, You can display How to Shop in home page. Click On/Off if you want to activate/unactivate display.
- How to Customize Logo and Icon
- Logo and Favicon, Here you can add Logo and Favicon. You can upload an image each for: logo and favicon by clicking Choose file button and Save. As a hint, you can visit this linkhttp://www.iconfinder.com/ to find logo and Icon.

- How to Shop Icon, We have our default for How to Shop Icon, but you can create on upload your favorite one. Click Choose file button and Save. You can also change your How to Shop icon title depend on your need and favor.
- How to Activate email, RSS, Twitter, and Google Analytic.
- Email, You’ll find Email form. Fill in the blank field your email address. save.
- Twitter, You’ll find Social Networking Share Twitter. Fill in the blank field your Twitter username information (e.g. tokokoo). Save.
- RSS, You’ll find RSS. Fill in the blank field your online store RSS ID (e.g. tokokoo). Save. FeedBurner resets subscriber counts daily. During this period your subscriber count is unavailable and lasts a few hours

- Google Analytic, You’ll find Google Analytic. Fill in the blank field your Google Analytic codes. Save.
- How to Customize CSS, You’ll find Custom CSS. Fill in the blank field CSS codes you need to fully customize your online store. Save.
- How to Customize Footer Text, You’ll find Custom Footer Text. Fill in the blank field text you’d like to appear on footer section. Copyright is usually found here. Save.
- How to Customize Notes for Buyer, You’ll find Notes for Buyer. Fill in the blank field text you’d like to appear on footer notes section. Sale or promotion description is usually found here or it could be whatever you want to inform your buyer. Then, click Save button. The arrow show precise location where your fill in text on Notes for buyer are going to be appear on the front end.
2. Style Menu
As a start, users can use one beautiful furniture images which were provide by Tokokoo. Users can add it as much as they want to.

This following image will show as Background on Front-end. Make sure you choose the right one, considering this will be very catchy for customers.
3. Banners Menu
Users can use (8) eight spots banner ad 125 x 125 pixel size, (2) two spot banner ad 260 x 260 pixel size.

Customize Main Menu
If you using version 3.0 of WordPress or higher, you can setup custom menus to configure your site’s navigation. The theme comes with one custom menu location. You can add menu name according to your needs (e.g. “Header Menu”) and is located at the very top of the theme.
Should you be running earlier versions of WordPress, the menu degrades gracefully and automatically creates your navigation for you – custom menus are replaced with a list of pages. In this case, you will have options to alter the display of these menus from the theme options.
Setting Up Custom Menus
To setup your custom menus, navigate to Appearance > Menus. Give your menu a name and build it up using the available widgets. You can add a variety of items including pages, categories, custom links.

To extend the available Menu, click the screen options tab at the very top of the screen and configure your options.
Once you have built and saved your menu, simply select the theme location using the widget on the left. Under “Header Menu”, select your custom menu from the dropdown list to use it as the site’s main navigation.
Add and Manage Products
Input all your product data in WordPress e-commerce plugin. You could go to Product > add new to input new product. You can input product tags, categories, variations, coupons. See your product list you’ve been input by clicking product.

Tokokoo Widget
The theme comes with 5 Tokokoo widgets and 3 widgets spot (Pages, Blog, Product page) that can be used to configure how your site displays content – they can be found under Appearance > Widgets.
1. Bangkoo Subscriber
This widget allows you to display your FeedBurner subscriber and Twitter follower
- Title : Title of the widget
2. Bangkoo Banner
This widget allows you to configure and display banner advertisement. But you have to choose category banner you want to displayed, 125 x 125 pixel or 260 x 260 pixel size.
- Title : Title of the widget
- Category : size of banner you want to displayed (125 px or 260 px)
- Limit : number of banner you want to displayed. (max 8 for 125px and 4 for 260px)
3. Bangkoo Display Post or Product
This widget allows you to display your post or product.
- Title : Title of the widget
- Number of Entry : Add how many post or product you want to display
- Display Type Item : Select item (blog post or product) you want to display
- Order by : Select item you want to order (popular, view, discussion, recent)
- Image size : size of product image you want to display (50 px, 100px, 150px)
4. Bangkoo Single Last Tweet
This widget allows you to configure and display your latest Twitter tweets.
- Title : Title of the widget
- Twitter User Name : The username of the user’s tweets you wish to display
5. Bangkoo Twitter Widget
This widget allows you to configure and display your latest Twitter tweets more than one tweet
- Title : Title of the widget
- Twitter Username : The username of the user’s tweets you wish to display
- Link Text : Link to your twitter page
- Number Of Tweet : number of tweets you want to display
- Load New Tweets Every : time to load your new tweets.
Steps to change language:
- You can change the language using the application poedit (please download here: http://www.poedit.net/
- After you download and install, please run the application.
- File to change language in the folder wp-content/themes/bangkoopremium/languages/ en_EN.po” (default in English). *.po are file that would be changed.
- Copy files and rename the appropriate language of your country (eg “id_ID.po” to Indonesia).
- Call the file on the poedit application, then please save it. There will be a new file extension *. mo
- Edit wp-config.php in your search for “define (‘WPLANG’, ‘your_country’);”, replace” your_country “into your file (eg” id_ID “).
- Save.
