How to Install Kelontong WordPress e-Commerce Theme

Kelontong is a WordPress e-commerce theme designed by Tokokoo mainly for applications.

Installing Kelontong WordPress e-commerce theme requires 3 series of steps. The first one is downloading and installing WordPress. Second is downloading, installing and activating WP-e-Commerce, plugin developed by getshopped.org for WordPress e-commerce. Here’s How to Install WP-e-Commerce Plugin.

Okay, now you have WP-e-Commerce activated on your installed WordPress. Next thing to do is downloading and installing Kelontong. Here’s how.

1. Unzip Kelontong package. You’ll find inside Docs folder 2 files: Read Me and Log File. A guide on how to install the theme is in Read Me, while Log File tells you which version of the theme you currently have. You’ll also find inside WP-Content folder 3 subfolders: Languages, Plugins, Themes. Here’s how to set languages.

2. Open your preferred FTP/SFTP program. Upload Kelontong folder (directory path: themes/kelontong) to wp-content/themes/kelontong.

3. Upload Kelontong folder (directory path: wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/themes/kelontong) to wp-content/uploads/wpsc/themes/kelontong.

4. Login to your WordPress Dashboard. Go to Appearance > Themes. You’ll see Kelontong theme. Activate it.

5. Go to Store > Settings > Presentation. Choose Kelontong theme. Click Save.

6. Set Sidebar widget. These 2 widgets must be activated: Shopping Cart and Product Wishlist. Look at the image below, make sure you have Shopping Cart on top and Wishlist below it.

And that’s all. Enjoy your online store with Kelontong WordPress e-commerce theme.

I bought the appcloud theme. Your instructions refer to kelontong repeatedly but my zip file does not contain anything with this in it. The “read me” file refers to other items not contained in the file. Where can I find an accurate set of instructions?

i followed all the instructions properly yet i get an error message in my admin page. Something like :
Warning: array_merge() [function.array-merge]: Argument #2 is not an array in /home/avnerunl/public_html/demo/wp-content/plugins/wp-e-commerce/wpsc-admin/admin.php on line 585.
What is the possible problem?

Tried to follow the instructions, but my WordPress is not similar to the pictures. The Store settings appear under “Settings” > “Store”, and when I click the “Presentation” tab, the “Theme” option is not anywhere to be found!?

very new to word press. initially installed free kelontong theme first, then wpsc theme.
is this a fatal mistakes?
shop works fine, proceed to checkout gave me fatal error unless I unchecked “force users to use SSL” on checkout (now i feel like they are shopping unprotected). could not find anywhere to insert the SSL url. documentation said go to settings > store > admin and change urls to https, but my admin section has no URLs to change.
anyway, once i unchecked the “force users to use SSL” option, checkout works ok, i chose flat rate shipping for continental US option. back to active checkout page, i have a cart with an item, i put in my address for the shipping fields, but when i go to place the order, i get an error saying “oops there is nothing in your cart.” How do i solve this problem?

I just try the free theme but there is no shop button in the menu? Also no shopping cart?
